Our contest winner for
renaming the store was staff
member, Marcia Varughese!
Marcia submitted the name Cougar Corner. Our campus voted on three names and Cougar Corner won by a significant margin. MVNU Student Mary Willette designed our new Cougar Corner logo/sign (pictured above).

MVNU Bookstore Receives Honorable Mention from the National Association of College Stores (NACS) Foundation for their Scholarship Books Program:
Did you know that Cougar Corner is raising money to help students with financial need purchase their textbooks? Our goal is to raise $10,000 which will enable us to establish an endowed scholarship fund. We hope to reach our goal by December 2007. Our scholarship books program received national recognition from the NACS Foundation for outstanding development, implementation, and creative entrepreneurship of a new collegiate retailing program or service.
We have met our $10,000 goal! Let's keep on going...more dollars will help more students. Thank you to our students for your amazing support.
How can you help? All you need to do is donate your no-value textbooks, and we will do the rest. Your next opportunity to see if your textbooks have value is at buyback during finals week in May. Focus Studio is a locally owned print processing company that offers competitive pricing to our campus and a huge variety of services. Drop off your film or memory card at bookstore. Your pictures will be developed and returned to the bookstore for pick up. You may also send your digital prints via the web and have your prints delivered to the bookstore.
